HORSES
My interest in the horse in motion as subject matter runs parallel with my figurative work. My sister works with competition horses so I’ve had access to equine models for a long time, and been drawing them for many years. I’m interested in their shapes and dynamism and by removing any background context in the image, I aim to focus the viewer on their power and gracethrough the air.
